PointRoost is a place for DVC owners and renters to find each other. It is not a party to what you agree between yourselves — this page explains exactly where that line falls.

PointRoost is a listings marketplace. Owners publish points or confirmed reservations they want to rent; renters publish what they are looking for. The two sides find each other here and then deal directly.
PointRoost is not a travel agency, a broker, an escrow service, or an agent for either side. It is free to list and free to browse. Nothing on this site is an offer by PointRoost to rent you anything.
This is the most important section on this page, so it is a list rather than a paragraph.
If you send money to someone you met here and they do not deliver, that is a matter between you and them. PointRoost can remove an account, and will, but it cannot make you whole. Treat every transaction as one you have no recourse on, because you do not.
You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter a contract. One account per person. An account may not be shared, sold, or transferred.
Owners listing points must actually hold the ownership they describe. DVC membership carries its own rules on renting, set by Disney and not by PointRoost, and following them is your responsibility.
A badge records that a document was reviewed at a point in time. Identity verification means someone checked that you are who you say you are. Ownership verification means a reviewer saw evidence of DVC ownership and recorded which resorts it covered.
A badge is not a recommendation, a guarantee of conduct, or a statement that any particular listing is genuine. It can be withdrawn.
Listing and browsing are free. Some optional features are paid — Skipper monitoring, Last Call promotion, and instant identity verification. The commercial terms are set out in the In-App Purchase Terms and, for recurring plans, the Subscription Terms.
What you publish stays yours. By publishing it you give PointRoost permission to host and display it, and to show it in search results and shared links, for as long as it is live. Removing a listing withdraws that permission going forward.
Content that is unlawful, misleading, or not about DVC rentals may be removed without notice.
An account may be suspended or removed for breaking these terms, for fraud, or for conduct that puts other members at risk. Where it is possible to say why, you will be told why.
You can close your account at any time from settings. Closing it removes your profile and listings. Reviews you wrote about other members stay, with your name replaced, because removing them would rewrite someone else’s history.
The marketplace is provided as it is. PointRoost does not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing will lead to a booking.
To the extent the law allows, PointRoost is not liable for losses arising out of a transaction between members — including money sent for a rental that did not happen, a cancelled reservation, or a trip that did not go ahead.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions do not apply to you.
These terms may change. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page will move. Continuing to use PointRoost after that is acceptance.
PointRoost is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Walt Disney Company, Disney Vacation Club, or any of their affiliates. “Disney Vacation Club” and resort names are used only to describe what members are renting.
